Tutorial Fellow - Food Production

Minimum Qualification and Experience

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized and accredited university in the relevant field;

Master’s degree from a recognized and accredited University in the relevant field;

Registered or Registerable for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification;

Be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body (where applicable);

Proficiency in Computer Applications; and

Demonstrated potential for teaching and research.

Duties and Responsibilities for Tutorial Fellow

Lecturing in area of specialization in accordance with the curriculum up to Bachelor’s level;

Preparing teaching/learning materials;

Setting, invigilating and marking examination/assignments;

Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior academic member of staff;

Supervise undergraduate student’s projects and other experiential learning programme;

Preparing students progress reports; and

Preparing publications and/or books.
