SME Leasing Officer

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented SME Leasing Officer to support and grow our SME leasing portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lease structuring, client relationship management, and credit analysis within a financial institution.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and engage prospective SME clients for leasing products.

Evaluate lease applications by conducting credit and risk assessments.

Structure lease facilities in line with company policies and risk appetite.

Monitor lease accounts to ensure timely payments and compliance.

Prepare and present lease proposals for management approval.

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive renewals and referrals.

Collaborate with credit, risk, and legal teams to ensure seamless documentation and disbursement.

Generate periodic reports on lease portfolio performance.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of a First Degree in any discipline (Finance, Business Admin, or related field preferred).

Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in SME leasing within a financial institution.

Good understanding of leasing operations, credit analysis, and risk management.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
