Job Description
The Office Support Staff – Cleaner will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties effectively and efficiently, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene to create a pleasant environment for the Organization’s staff and external visitors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Empty waste bins and transporting waste material to designated collection points.
Sweep floors with dust control mops.
Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
Dry and damp dusting of furniture and fittings.
Dust, damp wipe, wash, polish furniture, windowsills, external surfaces of cabinets, shelves, and fittings.
Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, hand towels).
Clean the toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks.
Undertake wall washing, window and louvers.
Washing skirting, trucking, and panels.
Report any repair work that needs to be done.
Any other assigned duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Valid KCSE Certificate.
Work Experience
Two (2) years working experience as a cleaner in a cleaning company/or other organizations of a similar scope.
