Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. You will be the first point of contact for potential leads and play a key role in driving growth by engaging, qualifying, and nurturing leads through the sales funnel. You will also be responsible for reconnecting with leads and customers who have dropped off, identifying their concerns, and reactivating their interest where possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Outreach & Qualification:
• Make outbound calls and send emails to connect with inbound and outbound leads (B2B & B2C).
• Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and timeline.
• Schedule meetings or demos with the sales or customer success teams.
Follow-up & Re-engagement:
• Follow up regularly with leads who haven't responded or gone cold.
• Re-engage with customers or leads who dropped out of the sales funnel to understand why and explore opportunities to bring them back.
• Track and report reasons for drop-offs or disinterest to help improve marketing and sales strategies.
Problem Discovery & Reporting:
• Identify and document lead/customer pain points or objections during interactions.
• Provide feedback and reports to the sales and product teams for continuous improvement.
• CRM Management:
• Keep accurate records of all activities, lead stages, and outcomes in the CRM.
• Ensure timely updates and follow-through on all assigned leads.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth lead journey.
• Share insights on lead quality and campaign performance.
Social Media Engagement
• Engage with prospects on LinkedIn or other relevant social platforms to warm leads and build relationships.
Requirements:
• 0-1 years experience in a sales, cold calling and lead nurturing
• Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
• Confident and comfortable making calls and handling objections.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Persistent, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
• Experience in SaaS or service-based businesses.
• Exposure to B2B and/or B2C lead funnels.
• Knowledge of sales pipelines and lead scoring systems.
• Basic understanding of LinkedIn outreach and social selling.
Compensation:
INR 30K-35K per month
