Job Description

Responsibilities

Supervises the FinOps Team;

Ensures compliance with Accounting and Tax standards;

Liaises with respective point person(s) on outstanding action plans for FinOps items to ensure these are addressed prior to the next meeting;

Ensures documents are in compliance with Company policies and Limits of Authority;

Ensures timely closing of accounting tickets (ATS) of the team, provides root cause analysis on delays, and proposes initial solution for review by the Finance manager;

Contributes to process improvements in FinOps by adopting to modern technology and challenging current business practices

AP (payables) Function

Monitors the timely processing of payables (within the agreed SLA);

Monitors the timely posting of Journal Vouchers;

Ensures accuracy and completeness of supports and in compliance with BIR

AR (receivables) Function

Ensures timely issuance of intercompany and employee charges

Ensures timely issuance of customer billings

Ensures timely collection of customer billings

Qualifications

A Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Management Accounting (A Certified Public Accountant is an advantage);

3 years + of relative experience in the same capacity; with at least 1 year of experience working in a local company

Has at least 1 year experience in a supervisory role;

Strong knowledge of BIR regulations and Philippine tax requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Power-point);
