Job Title: Computer Instructor (Basic & Advanced)

Location: Federal Housing Estate GRA Onitsha

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To:

Training Coordinator / Program Director

Key Responsibilities:

Teach students basic computer literacy (typing, Microsoft Office, Internet use).

Deliver advanced training on topics like graphic design, database management, programming, or networking (based on expertise).

Design course materials and assessments aligned with student needs.

Provide hands-on practical sessions and real-life applications.

Track student progress and provide feedback.

Stay updated with current tech trends and integrate them into lessons.

Maintain lab equipment and software installations.

Prepare students for exams or certification where applicable.

Qualifications:

Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Computer Science, ICT, or related fields.

Proven teaching or training experience is an advantage.

Certifications (e.g., ICDL, Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) are a plus.

Key Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and one or more of: CorelDraw, Photoshop, HTML/CSS, Python, Networking basics, etc.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Patience and passion for teaching.

Classroom or group training facilitation experience.

Ability to explain complex tech concepts in simple terms.
