Job Description
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials (raw materials, packaging, finished goods, etc.).
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
Implement and manage FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory practices
Ensure that materials are stored safely, organized, and labeled properly. - Conduct periodic cycle counts and monthly/annual physical inventory checks.
Liaise with production, quality control, and procurement teams for material planning and demand forecasting.
Ensure the timely delivery of raw materials to production lines.
Lead and supervise storekeepers and warehouse staff.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
Generate regular reports on stock levels, wastage, and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).
Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven years of experience in store or warehouse management, preferably in a food manufacturing setup.
Proficiency in inventory software (e.g. Odoo).
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Good understanding of food safety and material handling standards.
