Quality Assurance (QA) Officer

Position Summary

BAFASHION is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Officer with a proven background in tailoring and garment finishing to join our production team.

This role is critical to ensuring that all finished garments consistently meet our company’s high standards and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of finished garments to ensure quality, finishing, and accuracy.

Verify that products meet customer specifications and approved order details

Identify and document defects or inconsistencies in workmanship

Collaborate with tailors and production teams to maintain and improve quality standards

Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing clear, constructive feedback

Requirements and Competencies

Strong knowledge of tailoring and garment construction

Ability to identify issues quickly and recommend effective corrective actions

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production teams

Capacity to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to meeting deadlines

Qualifications

Minimum of HND or BSc in any relevant field

2 – 4 years of experience in quality assurance or garment production

Practical tailoring experience is required

Must reside in or near Ketu / Agboyi Estate, Lagos

Availability to work Monday – Saturday (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
