Quality Assurance Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Leadwho will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Quality Assurance team in daily operations within the manufacturing facility.

Monitor and ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, inspection plans, and testing protocols.

Oversee root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product quality.

Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits from clients and regulatory bodies.

Train and mentor QA staff and ensure consistent performance and development.

Maintain documentation and quality records in accordance with QMS requirements.

Report on key quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Education, Qualification and Experience

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline.

5years of experience in a quality role, preferably in the food or snack manufacturing industry.

Proven experience leading teams and managing quality systems (ISO 9001 or similar).

Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.

Knowledge of food safety systems such as HACCP, GMP, ISO9001.

Good observation, reporting, and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Willingness to work shifts or weekends as needed.S
