Job Description
Basic Function
The Benefits Specialist administers all level benefits transactions and programs. It also includes responsibilities for workers compensation, safety, record keeping, and related compliance. The person in this position will portray a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient service to team members and customers with the highest integrity.
Essential Functions
Satisfaction of Internal customers within the SBU HR team.
Effectiveness of all transactions (Time & Accuracy)
Facilitate, prepares and distributes information to employees regarding Government & Company Benefits programs
Oversee processing, enrollment, transactions and reimbursement to different government agencies (SSS, PAG-IBIG, Phil Health and BIR)
Processing and corrections of remittances, postings and implementation of deductions etc.
Prepare & process Insurance Documents (Group Personal Insurance, Accident Claims and HMO reimbursements)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferably from Psychology, Human Resource Management...
A minimum of 1 to 2 years previous HR experience, benefits, and labor laws but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and high level of honesty and integrity
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership.
Positive attitude and willingness to assist team members
Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, technical procedures and adherence to company and statutory rules related to payroll, benefits, workers compensation, deadlines and policies
Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook at an entry level
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the department, including nights and weekends as required
