Roles & Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform finishing and detailing tasks on vehicles, including sanding, buffing, polishing, and applying coatings.

• Inspect surfaces before and after finishing to ensure quality and uniformity.

• Mix and apply paint and other finishes according to specifications.

• Repair minor surface defects, such as scratches, dents, and chips.

• Maintain and clean finishing equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Work with other team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications.

• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as an automobile finisher or in a similar role.

• Knowledge of finishing techniques, materials, and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative

productivity standards.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the company standards.

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor for extended periods.

• Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling.

• Proficiency in finishing and detailing techniques, including sanding, buffing, polishing, and painting.

• Knowledge of different types of finishes and coatings and their appropriate uses.

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively.

• Precision in finishing and inspecting surfaces to ensure high-quality results.
