Job Summary:
The Community Host is the welcoming face and operational heart of Cowork with MTRD. This role is crucial for ensuring our members and guests have a seamless, productive, and positive experience. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the space, and actively contributing to our vibrant community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Member & Guest Reception:
Warmly greet and welcome all members, daily pass users, and guests upon arrival and departure.
Assist visitors with sign-in using the access register and direct them appropriately.
Provide tours of the Cowork with MTRD space to prospective members, highlighting key features and benefits (e.g., smart office automation, reliable power, Wi-Fi).
Space Management & Operations:
Ensure the coworking areas, meeting rooms, and common spaces (e.g., kitchen, restrooms) are clean, tidy, and well-maintained throughout the day.
Monitor and replenish amenities like coffee, tea, and water supplies.
Perform basic troubleshooting for Wi-Fi and common office equipment (e.g., printer), and escalate complex issues.
Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are set up correctly.
Member Support & Engagement:
Answer member inquiries, provide assistance, and address minor concerns promptly and courteously.
Familiarize yourself with membership plans and basic pricing to assist with inquiries.
Foster a welcoming and collaborative environment for all members.
Security & Compliance:
Diligent use of the access register for all entries and exits.
Maintain awareness of security procedures and report any suspicious activity.
Ensure adherence to House Rules and Fair Usage Policy.
Administrative Support:
Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
Perform light administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
Education: Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in any relevant field.
Computer Literacy: Proven proficiency in using computers and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
Community & Social Media Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to engage positively with a diverse community. Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram) for basic content sharing or engagement is a strong advantage.
Location: Must reside within the U/Rimi environs of Kaduna.
Experience: 0 Years, Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or front desk role (1-2 years preferred).
NYSC Corpers: Applications from currently serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members seeking PPA (Place of Primary Assignment) placements are highly welcome.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday , 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
