Operations & Shipping Executive

Responsibilities:

Working with various parties like suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations

Preparing, verifying, and handling all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations

Overseeing the movement of goods, tracking shipments, and managing schedules to ensure on-time delivery

Ensuring all shipping activities adhere to local and international regulations and company policies

Addressing and resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process, such as damages, discrepancies, or customs clearance problems

Maintaining strong relationships with shipping agents, carriers, and other stakeholders

Issuing Order Acknowledgment in SAP after receive PO from customers

Issuing Purchase Order to supplier based on customer order

Negotiating transportation rates to third party logistics

Handling import and export documents

Ensuring all shipment released on time and under schedule

Arranging transportation from warehouse to customer

Preparing Invoice, tax invoice and related document for 'tukar faktur' with customer

Handling and chasing an overdue invoice from customer

Responsible for stock take every six month and do cycle count every month

To be successful in this role, you would require:

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any related field.

Knowledge of shipping procedures and regulations

Proficiency in relevant software and tools

Attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and multitasking skills
