💵 Compensation: $17.20/hour

The firm is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting/Finance Intern or Co-op Student to join their team for the 2025 Summer to 2026 Spring term. This is an exciting opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting within a dynamic and supportive environment. Interns will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, financial analysis, and participate in strategic projects that influence real business decisions.Key Responsibilities
Assist with processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
Perform data entry and coding of invoices in compliance with company policies
Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Analyze financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
Assist in preparing accurate and timely internal financial reports and audits
Track and monitor budget performance and help prepare financial forecasts
Support financial compliance efforts and maintain documentation for audit readiness
Participate in ad hoc financial projects, data analysis, and reporting improvements
Collaborate with team members on process improvement initiatives
About You
Near completion or recently graduated from a program in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or ERP Accounting systems) is an asset
Familiarity with financial statements, forecasting, and budgeting processes
Eagerness to learn, with a positive and proactive attitude
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to developing a career in accounting or finance and pursuing a professional designation (e.g., CPA) is preferred
