Outpatient Nurse

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient nursing services including triage, procedures, medication administration, and patient counseling

Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with hospital and professional standards

Support preventive care services such as immunizations, nutritional assessments, and well-baby checks

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for emergency and follow-up care

Participate in quality improvement and health promotion activities

Maintain professional licensure, CPD certification, and up-to-date nursing competencies

Requirements

Qualifications & Competencies

Diploma or Degree in Nursing recognized by the Nursing Council of Kenya

Current registration and license with the Nursing Council of Kenya

Certification in PILS/EPALS and Phlebotomy

Proficient in outpatient care procedures and use of medical equipment

Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and cultural competence

Excellent communication and patient care skills
