About The Social Lions:

The Social Lions is a creative-led marketing agency focused on producing impactful digital content. We are looking for a Video Editor & Photographer who can elevate our visual output with strong storytelling, technical skill and a sharp creative eye.

Role Overview:

This role requires someone who can confidently handle both video editing and photography. You should be comfortable leading shoots, managing timelines, and delivering clean, platform-ready content. We need someone who understands brand direction, works well with creative teams, adapts quickly, and takes complete ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing

• Edit videos for social media, campaigns and digital platforms.

• Work on colour grading, sound, transitions and overall polish.

• Deliver formats suitable for Instagram, YouTube and ads.

Photography

• Shoot high-quality images for campaigns, events, products and lifestyle content.

• Plan and execute shoots including lighting, framing and setup.

Post-Production

• Handle colour correction, sound mixing and final exports.

• Create basic to mid-level motion graphics or VFX where required.

Collaboration & Timelines

• Work closely with the creative team to bring briefs to life.

• Ensure all shoots and edits are completed on schedule.

Skill Requirements:

• Proven experience in both video editing and photography with relevant work samples.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.

• Strong hands-on experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras (Canon/Sony preferred).

• Solid understanding of lighting, composition and colour.

• Mandatory agency experience (1–2 years minimum).

• Mandatory experience in animation or VFX (basic to mid-level).
