Job Summary

A verification officer is responsible for validating information provided by applicants or customers. They handle inbound calls from references, academic institutions, and employers to verify employment applications. The role involves ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of information, often within the context of employment, education, etc.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

The verification officers will be validating information provided by applicants or customers within the context of address, education, and employment within their region.

He/she will go to the address provided and ask questions to validate the information provided by the client.

After a successful verification, an upload of the result will be carried out by the officer immediately, and a location pin must be dropped.

Above all, the officer will undergo a training on how to use the software, upload data, etc.

Requirements:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Previous experience in verification, field investigation, or a similar role is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and ability to validate information accurately.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting verification interviews.

Ability to travel within the assigned region to verify addresses, education, and employment details.

Proficiency in using mobile applications or software for data entry and uploads (training will be provided).

Ability to drop accurate location pins after each verification.

Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely completion of verifications.

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
