About the internship We are seeking a dedicated WordPress Developer to join our team at Codematics. This role is essential for building and maintaining high-quality WordPress sites that enhance our digital presence and improve user experience. The WordPress Developer will solve performance issues, implement new features, and optimize site functionality, ensuring our websites meet the needs of our clients and users effectively. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. 2. Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement responsive designs and user-friendly interfaces. 3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performance, security, and compatibility problems. 4. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall performance using best practices. Implement updates and new features based on client requirements and industry trends. 5. Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet specifications.
