About the internship As a Web Development and Design Intern, you will enhance our Wix website by leveraging your technical and creative skills to optimize performance, user experience, and visual appeal, aligning with our brand's professionalism. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Website development: Customize layouts, add features, and ensure mobile responsiveness using Wix tools. 2. UI/UX Design: Redesign pages for better navigation, create prototypes with Adobe XD/Figma and conduct usability tests. 3. Graphic design: Design banners, icons, and visuals using Photoshop or Canva; optimize images for performance. 4. SEO & Performance: Improve rankings with Wix SEO tools, optimize speed, and monitor analytics for insights. 5. Content management: Update text, visuals, and blogs; collaborate with the content team for consistency. 6. Interactive features: Add tools like quizzes or calculators; integrate Mailchimp and automate workflows. 7. Testing & troubleshooting: Ensure cross-device compatibility and resolve technical issues. 8. Learning & exploration: Explore Wix features, stay updated on trends, and gather ideas from competitors. Tools You'll Use: 1. Wix Platform: Wix Editor, Velo (for coding), Wix Analytics. 2. Design Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva. 3. Prototyping Tools: Adobe XD, Figma. 4.
