About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Web application VAPT (vulnerability assessment and penetration testing) 2. Android & iOS mobile App VAPT 3. Perform asset and network discovery activities to ensure full coverage of vulnerability discovery. 4. Prioritize remediation activities with operational teams by assessing the risk ratings of vulnerabilities and assets. 5. Conduct research on new vulnerabilities, attack vectors, exploits, tools, and industry trends related to the services mentioned above. 6. Research, recommend, evaluate, and implement information security solutions that identify and/or protect against potential threats, while responding to security violations, misuse of resources, or noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes. Required Candidate Profile: 1. Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) of thick and thin client-based applications, operating systems, edge devices, and firewalls. 2. A minimum of one year of experience. 3. Perform periodic system and application VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing), Mobile App VAPT, and Network VAPT using both automated and manual approaches. 4. Strong experience in using open-source and commercial tools such as, but not limited to, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Acunetix, along with experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. 5. Expertise and experience in conducting VAPT as per standards such as OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, WASC, and NIST.
