About the internship At Wrexa Technologies, our Unity Developer Interns will contribute to creating innovative and engaging mobile games. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: a. Game Development 1. Develop, implement, and test game features using Unity for mobile platforms (Android/iOS). 2. Collaborate with the team to design gameplay mechanics and ensure smooth functionality. b. UI/UX Integration 1. Work on implementing and optimizing user interfaces for seamless gameplay experience. 2. Ensure user interactions align with the game's design and flow. c. Performance Optimization 1. Optimize game performance for mobile devices, focusing on frame rate, memory usage, and load times. 2. Debug and troubleshoot performance issues. d. Asset Integration 1. Import and manage 2D/3D assets, animations, and sounds in Unity. 2. Work closely with designers to ensure assets are properly implemented. e. Code Maintenance 1. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code. 2. Assist in bug fixing and updating existing game features. f. Testing and Debugging 1. Conduct rigorous testing of game features to identify and resolve issues. 2. Ensure compatibility across different mobile devices and screen resolutions. e. Collaboration 1. Work in a team-oriented environment with game designers, artists, and senior developers. 2. Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for new and existing games. f. Learning and Growth 1. Stay updated with the latest Unity features and trends in mobile gaming. 2. Gain hands-on experience with game publishing processes for app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store).
