About the internship As a Teaching Data Science intern at the International Institute Of SDGs & Public Policy Research, you will have the exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by teaching marginalized students the essential skills of data science. Your role will involve empowering students from underprivileged backgrounds to harness the power of data for positive social change. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Develop engaging and accessible curriculum for data science workshops tailored to the needs of marginalized students. 2. Provide hands-on training and mentorship to students, guiding them through data analysis projects. 3. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and collaboration. 4. Track student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their data science skills. 5. Collaborate with the research team to explore ways in which data science can be used to address social issues. 6. Assist in organizing events and initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of data literacy in marginalized communities. 7. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth in the field of data science and education.
