About the internship As a Supply Chain & Procurement Intern at Farmdidi, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to ensure smooth operations and efficient procurement processes. Your role will be crucial in supporting our supply chain management and helping us maintain strong relationships with our vendors. Your effective communication skills will be essential in negotiating contracts and resolving any procurement-related issues that may arise. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist in managing inventory levels and forecasting demand to ensure timely delivery of products. 2. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize cost savings. 3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and sourcing strategies. 4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies. 5. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may impact product quality or delivery timelines. 6. Assist in analyzing supply chain processes and identifying areas for improvement or optimization. 7. Support the team in various ad hoc projects and tasks to gain exposure to different aspects of the supply chain and procurement functions.
