About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Reviewing and understanding software requirements and specifications 2. Designing, executing, and documenting test cases for various applications 3. Identifying and logging defects in Jira, ensuring detailed descriptions and reproduction steps 4. Performing regression testing to ensure fixes do not affect other functionalities 5. Developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium 6. Analyzing test results, reporting issues, and working with developers for resolution 7. Optimizing automation scripts to improve efficiency and coverage 8. Using Jira to log, track, and manage bugs and testing progress 9. Generating and sharing detailed bug reports, including screenshots and logs 10. Collaborating with the development team to clarify and resolve defects 11. Participating in team meetings to discuss testing progress and challenges 12. Coordinating with developers, product managers, and QA leads to ensure seamless testing 13. Providing timely updates on testing status and deliverables 14. Creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and testing-related documentation 15.
