About the internship We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented software tester intern to join our team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in software testing, automation tools, and methodologies. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to ensure the quality and functionality of our products. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts to validate the functionality of software applications. 2. Execute automated and manual test cases and report the results. 3. Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify defects and inconsistencies in software, and document them clearly in the issue-tracking system (e.g., JIRA collaborates with developers to resolve them. 4. Test case optimization: Continuously optimize and refactor existing test cases to enhance the efficiency of the testing process. 5. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to understand application requirements and provide feedback from the QA perspective.
