About the internship Are you a tech-savvy athlete looking to kickstart your career in software development? Do you have a passion for creating innovative solutions and enhancing user experiences? AthletesBnb is seeking a dynamic software development engineering (web) intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Bubble.io, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to build and maintain our online platform for athletes. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Development: i. Build and refine features within the Bubble.io platform, focusing on user-friendly interfaces and robust functionality. ii. Collaborate on creating responsive designs that adapt seamlessly across different devices. 2. Testing and improvement: i. Conduct thorough testing of the application to identify and report bugs. ii. Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the application meets user needs. 3. Learning and collaboration: i. Actively learn Bubble.io and its functionalities, seeking guidance and mentorship from the development team. ii. Participate in daily stand-up meetings and project discussions. iii. Maintain clear communication with the team throughout the development process. A parent who frequently travels with his kids for tournaments and training consistently saw the challenges in finding affordable accommodation, nutritious food, training facilities, physiotherapists, and coaches. These challenges are commonly faced by all traveling athletes and their families everywhere. He saw the opportunity for the athletes and their families to come together as a community to support each other during their travels. AthletesBnB is simply an enabler of that community.
