About the internship Are you a Social Work intern with a passion for teaching and making a positive impact in the community? Deshyoga Charitable Trust is looking for someone like you to join our team! As an intern with us, you will have the opportunity to work directly with underprivileged children and adults, providing them with valuable life skills and education through yoga and mindfulness practices. Your role will be instrumental in helping us fulfill our mission of promoting health and wellness in marginalized communities. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist in planning and conducting yoga and mindfulness classes for children and adults. 2. Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of the participants. 3. Provide individual support and mentorship to help participants achieve their personal goals. 4. Collaborate with other team members to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants. 5. Assist in organizing community events and workshops to promote health and wellness. 6. Collect and analyze data to track the impact of our programs and make necessary adjustments. 7. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in social work and teaching.
