Site Reliability Engineer

About the internship Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain Reliability and Availability: Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of services through monitoring and proactive engineering. 2. Network Management: Oversee network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and implement strategies to improve network reliability and security. 3. Incident Response and Root Cause Analysis: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime. 4. Automation: Develop and maintain automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and system management. 5. Performance Monitoring: Set up and optimize monitoring tools, create dashboards, and establish alerts to proactively detect and address issues. 6. Site Visits: Travel to physical locations for network and system troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance as required. 7. Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers and DevOps to optimize and troubleshoot system and network performance. 8. Documentation and Best Practices: Document processes, system configurations, and operational best practices to improve incident response times and knowledge sharing.
