Program Overview The Shopify Internship Program at Abox Agency is designed to equip aspiring e-commerce developers with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Shopify. Over the course of 100 days, interns will learn the fundamentals of e-commerce, Shopify store setup, product management, store design and development, and third-party integrations. Eligibility Criteria • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required. • Passion for e-commerce and web development. • Ability to commit to the full 100-day program. Program Structure & Focus Areas Phase 1: Introduction to E-commerce & Shopify (Week 1 - 2) • Overview of the e-commerce industry and trends. • Introduction to Shopify and its ecosystem. • Understanding Shopify plans, pricing, and features. Phase 2: Shopify Store Setup (Week 3 - 5) • Creating and configuring a Shopify account. • Domain setup, business settings, and payment gateways. • Store policies, tax settings, and shipping configurations. Phase 3: Shopify Product Management (Week 6 - 8) • Adding and managing products in Shopify. • Product variants, collections, and inventory management. • Pricing strategies and discount management. Phase 4: Shopify Store Design & Development (Week 9 - 12) • Understanding Shopify themes and Liquid templating. • Customizing themes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Implementing Shopify sections and blocks for store customization. Phase 5: Shopify Third-Party Integrations (Week 13 - 15) • Introduction to Shopify Apps and integrations. • Connecting third-party tools (email marketing, analytics, CRM, etc.). • Exploring Shopify API and automation workflows.
