About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Actively assist a child (client diagnosed with autism or ADHD, learning disability, etc.) in his/her school (during school hours) with targeted intervention strategies to improve skills in the domains of behavior, concentration, academic & social skills 2. Consistently prepare goals, plans, and monthly progress reports to ensure the progress graph of the child 3. Regularly send daily reports to parents regarding the behavior & performance of the child at school and the intervention strategies used by the shadow teacher 4. Responsibly ensure that the job does not entail managing physical limitations of children (wheelchair, etc.) 5. Support the client assigned by studying at a school located near the candidate's residence to allow easy travel 6. Proactively provide intensive training to ensure that the chosen candidate is up to the mark in terms of attributes required to be a good therapist/counselor for special children Who can apply Only those candidates can apply who: 1. are available for full time (in-office) internship 2. can start the internship between 15th Jan'25 and 19th Feb'25 3. are available for duration of 6 months 4. have relevant skills and interests We are a for-profit company that provides psychological services to children with special needs in Mumbai. We offer services to children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, learning disability, down syndrome, etc. at their school or take one-on-one counseling sessions at home using proper intervention techniques to guide their behavior in social and academic situations to our stated goals.
