About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Keyword research: Identify relevant keywords and phrases that target audiences use in searches, using tools like Google Keyword Planner. 2. On-Page optimization: Assist in optimizing website content, including meta tags (titles, descriptions), headers, URLs, and internal linking to improve search rankings. 3. Content creation and optimization: Help create or improve blog posts, web content, and other materials to ensure they are SEO-friendly. This includes following SEO best practices and writing with target keywords in mind. 4. Link building: Research and identify backlink opportunities, reach out to websites, and manage guest posts or directory submissions to build quality inbound links. 5. Technical SEO: Assist with audits to check for issues like broken links, slow page load times, and crawl errors, and help implement solutions. 6. Analytics and reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor traffic, rankings, and website performance, compiling data into reports to track improvements and identify issues. 7. Staying updated on SEO trends: Research the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure strategies remain effective and relevant. 8. Collaboration with other teams: Work with content, social media, and web development teams to ensure all content aligns with SEO goals.
