Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Developing and executing sales plans: Sales executives are responsible for creating and implementing sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets. This may involve identifying new markets and potential customers, developing pricing strategies, and creating sales presentations.
2. Identifying new sales opportunities: Sales executives need to be able to identify new sales opportunities, including new markets, emerging trends, and potential customers. This may involve researching and analyzing market trends, attending trade shows, and networking with industry professionals.
3. Building and maintaining client relationships: Sales executives need to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. This involves understanding their needs, providing exceptional customer service, and being responsive to their concerns and feedback.
4. Managing the sales process: Sales executives need to manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. This may involve managing multiple leads at once, following up with clients, and negotiating contracts.
5. Meeting sales targets: Sales executives are responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the company. This may involve setting and achieving sales goals, tracking sales performance, and reporting sales results to management.
To be successful in this role, a sales executive should have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong understanding of sales and marketing principles. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is typically required, as well as prior experience in sales or a related field.
