Job description Quality Assurance Intern (Unpaid, Remote, flexible) Position: Quality Assurance Intern Type: Unpaid Internship Location: Remote Working Hours: Flexible About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in QA processes, tools, and methodologies while working in a supportive and flexible environment. You will contribute to improving product quality and ensuring the best user experience. Key Responsibilities • Conduct manual and automated testing on web and/or mobile applications to identify bugs and issues. • Record and document test results, processes, and any detected defects in detail. • Work closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality standards. • Assist in creating test plans, test cases, and testing strategies based on project requirements. • Log bugs in tracking tools and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner. • Suggest improvements to enhance the QA process and overall product quality. Required Skills & Qualifications · Education/Technical skills: o Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. o Knowledge of software testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, integration). o Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). o Basic knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., selenium) o Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and programming language’s like Java. · Soft Skills: o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies. o Excellent written and verbal communication skills. o Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
