About the internship The QA interns will primarily assist the team in the following tasks: Test Documentation 1. Draft and update test plans, test cases, and testing guidelines. 2. Assist in maintaining documentation for test results and defect tracking. Manual Testing 1. Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks. 2. Execute test cases, report defects, and retest once resolved. Collaboration 1. Work closely with the development team to understand requirements and create relevant testing scenarios. 2. Attend team meetings to gain insights into product functionality and testing scope. Support QA Automation (Optional if they have basic programming knowledge) 1. Assist in writing or executing scripts for automated tests, under the guidance of senior QA engineers. Learning & Development 1. Gain hands-on experience in various stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes. 2. Receive mentorship from QA team members to enhance their technical and analytical skills. (Ranjangaon), Schmersal Global Competence Centre executes all the functions and responsibilities of the ITCC (IT Competence Center) and Engineering Center.
