About the role:: As a Quality Analyst and tester, is to test websites and web applications thoroughly. This includes performing functional testing to ensure that all features and functionalities are working correctly, as well as usability testing to assess the user-friendliness and navigation of the website. You need to identify and document any bugs, errors, or issues encountered during testing. It's important to have a keen eye for detail and be able to reproduce and isolate the problems to provide clear and accurate bug reports to the development team. You are responsible for test planning activities, which include developing test strategies, test cases, and test scripts. You need to create comprehensive test documentation to ensure efficient and effective testing throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities: • You are responsible for conducting performance testing to evaluate the speed, responsiveness, and stability of the website. This may involve load testing, stress testing, or other techniques to assess the website's performance under different scenarios. • As new features or changes are implemented, you need to perform regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities have not been affected. You should retest previously tested areas to confirm that they continue to function as expected. • You should evaluate the overall user experience of the website, including factors such as website layout, navigation, responsiveness, and visual design. You should provide feedback and suggestions for improvements to enhance the user experience. • It’d be a bonus if you are proficient in using automated testing tools and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage. Create a testing schedule for each workflow, analyze and test for quality assurance, and provide suggestions for improvements. • Prepare UAT (User Acceptance Testing) guidelines document for different test cases and workflows to ensure thorough testing before each production release. • Maintain and update the Work Management System (WMS) with incidents, fixes, and improvements. • Monitor the production cycle and conduct regular tests to identify potential malfunctions and defects. • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing recommendations for fixes. • Perform stress testing and write unit tests for backend APIs using GoLang and PostgreSQL. • Develop and execute automation tests (smoke, regression, visual) and conduct manual testing (performance, security,logical) for both frontend (NextJS) and backend (Golang) components. • Manage and monitor Trello and Jira boards to provide clear instructions and steps for developers to reproduce bugs and implement new features based on designers' specifications. • Monitor set-up time alerts for all websites owned and host. Requirements : • Understanding of backend architecture and how backend interacts with microservices and frontend. • Understanding of UX/UI design principles and providing input to product managers and designers. • Understanding of deployment and software lifecycles is a plus point. • Well-versed in the latest web technologies from AI, Frontend, Backend or DevOps. Familiar with Strong Scrum and Agile Practices • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field • Strong understanding of web fundamentals, web performance, software design patterns and architecture • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication and collaboration skills • Experience working with nimble, cross-functional teams with high shipping velocity
