Python Automation Tester

About the internship As a Python automation tester intern at NatWest Group, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the banking and financial services industry. Your role will involve developing and executing automated test scripts using Python to ensure the quality and reliability of our software systems. You will work closely with our experienced team of testers and developers to identify and resolve issues, improve testing processes, and contribute to the overall success of our projects. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for functional, regression, and performance testing. 2. Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements, design test cases, and execute test plans. 3. Identify and report defects, track issues, and verify bug fixes through the testing lifecycle. 4. Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities with colleagues. 5. Conduct research on new testing tools and technologies to enhance test automation capabilities. 6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and results. 7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help drive innovation in test automation practices.
