As a purchasing officer intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of technology procurement while sharpening your sales skills and communication abilities. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist with researching and identifying potential suppliers for technology products and services. 2. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards are met. 3. Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and requirements. 4. Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. 5. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information. 6. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing. 7. Assist with resolving any procurement-related issues or discrepancies that may arise.
