Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality. Purchase Order Management: Prepare and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials. Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and assess their performance regularly. Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new suppliers to improve sourcing strategies. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements. Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising on quality and operational efficiency. Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and logistics, to streamline procurement processes. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in Garments Sector. Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices. Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
