Job description Job Description: Outreach and Engagement Intern – GPODS Fellowship Position: Outreach Intern Location: Remote Duration: 3 Months Stipend: Unpaid Application Deadline: 10th March 2025 About GPODS Fellowship: Global Policy, Diplomacy, and Sustainability (GPODS) Fellowship is a 3-month online program designed to empower young professionals, scholars, and practitioners across the fields of public policy, diplomacy, sustainability, and global development. The Fellowship serves as a launchpad for individuals to accelerate their careers by gaining exposure to world-class mentors, networking opportunities, and advanced skill-building in policy, diplomacy, and sustainability. At GPODS, we are committed to providing the best resources and training to budding policymakers and researchers, making them ready for impactful careers. Our global network of mentors and fellows helps cultivate the next generation of leaders in various sectors. Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and passionate Outreach Interns to assist in building connections and partnerships with universities, organizations, and prospective applicants for the GPODS Fellowship. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and enthusiastic about fostering relationships with universities, external partners, and stakeholders in the policy, diplomacy, and sustainability sectors. Key Responsibilities: • University Outreach: Actively engage with universities and academic institutions to promote the GPODS Fellowship program, ensuring that the program reaches a diverse pool of candidates. • Partnership Development: Build and maintain collaborations with similarly aligned organizations, think tanks, NGOs, and research institutions to expand the GPODS network and increase awareness about the Fellowship. • Applicant Engagement: Communicate with potential applicants to answer questions, share information about the program, and encourage them to apply. • Event Coordination: Assist with keeping track of lecture schedules, online sessions, and events, ensuring timely communication and coordination with speakers, mentors, and fellows. • Research & Reporting: Conduct research on potential partner organizations, universities, and relevant industry trends. Provide regular updates to the team on outreach progress and applicant status.
