About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. You will develop techniques to improve transcoding and streaming reliability to deliver best viewer quality on platforms mobile & web platforms. 2. With your deep knowledge of video streaming technologies, you will support the development team in improving and stabilizing our Server-Side video transcoding pipeline. 3. Configure and optimize video delivery aspects at the content delivery network layer. 4. Maintain and improve video quality and accessibility aspects, such as latency in poor network conditions. 5. Work closely together with our internal team to identify potential roadblocks and strive to improve the experience of the viewers. 6. Work together with our team on research projects and tackle the challenging aspects of tomorrow's online-video solutions. Skills Required: 1. Strong experience in video transcoding platforms and frameworks (i.e. Gstreamer, Ffmpeg). 2. In-depth knowledge of Video standards i.e. Video Encoding/Transcoding H.264 / HEVC/AV1/CBR/VBR/ABR. 3. Experience in configuring and optimizing video delivery at the network level. 4. Knowledge of video delivery systems(i.e. RTSP, WebRTC, HLS, DASH, SRT, RTMP) 5. Working knowledge of Git 6. Knowledge of the software development life cycle, including testing, deployment, and monitoring solutions.
