About the internship Your Roles and Responsibilities Manage day to day client servicing tasks, be responsive to client needs and execute PR plans and extend support to your team members Take ownership of following and delivering on all standard operating procedures (daily and weekly coverage reports, month-end reports, event reports, MOM, WIP etc.), while strictly adhering to the timelines Prepare and distribute press releases in media and follow-up for coverage Address inquiries from the media and other external parties to generate visibility for clients Track media coverage, and follow industry trends Develop and nurture relationships with relevant media; day-to-day contact with the media to pitch stories and generate coverage Proactively identify opportunities for clients on their own Take a brief from a client, assess and recommend media opportunities Track media movements, event participation and speaker opportunities for clients Be able to advise clients and the team on the latest trends in media Prepare first draft of pitch notes, opinion articles, press releases, case studies, quotes, reports, etc. in a timely manner Handle press conferences, media invites, attendance, and follow-ups Collate and report media coverage, monthly reports and coverage dossiers to the client along with analysis and recommendations on next steps Be able to put together research and ideas for proposals and pitches Who can apply Only those candidates can apply who: 1. are available for the part time job/internship 2. can start the part time job/internship between 14th Jan'25 and 18th Feb'25 3. are available for duration of 3 months 4. have relevant skills and interests KaroStartup was initiated way back in 2019 with a goal to build a community of startups across India. After spending years in this ecosystem, we understood the challenges people face due to lack of knowledge and no mentorship at the individual level which result in most of the startups derailing from the path of success and ultimately ending up in failure.
