Junior UI/UX Designer

About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. User research & insights: Conduct research to understand the needs and digital behaviors of farmers and traders, ensuring design decisions support an accessible user experience. 2. Intuitive design creation: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and final designs that are clear, user-friendly, and easy to understand, even for users with limited digital experience. 3. Usability testing: Conduct usability testing with users to gather feedback, iterating on designs to make them even more intuitive and accessible. 4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure that designs meet functional requirements and are technically feasible. 5. Design system development: Establish a design system that supports consistency, simplicity, and ease of use across all One Root platforms. 6. Adaptability & learning: Stay current with best practices for designing for non-technical audiences and continuously refine designs to support user needs.
