Job description About Us: The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand started in 2013. We are one of India’s largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros; WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few. Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends. In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we have also expanded to new categories and introduced new product lines like activewear, supima products, innerwear, personal care products like perfumes etc. We have also launched footwear and kidswear recently. Although we are primarily an online brand, we’ve expanded in the offline retail space as well and have stores pan India. Role Overview : As a Sourcing Intern, you will work closely with our Sourcing and Product Development teams to support the procurement of raw materials, vendor management, and production coordination. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the end-to-end sourcing process within the apparel industry. Key Responsibilities: ● Assist in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding potential vendors for fabrics, trims, and accessories. ● Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues. ● Maintain an updated database of suppliers, material costs, and specifications. ● Track material inventory and assist in ensuring alignment with production timelines. ● Assist in sample development and quality checks to ensure adherence to brand standards. ● Coordinate with suppliers for necessary modifications or adjustments to samples. ● Manage purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documentation. ● Prepare regular reports on sourcing performance and cost-saving initiatives. Qualifications: ● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Management, Supply Chain, or related fields. ● Strong organizational and communication skills. ● Attention to detail with an ability to multitask. ● Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). ● Familiarity with fabrics, trims, and garment production is a plus.
