Intern - Business Development (On-site)

Job description About the Role: TIH, IIT Bombay is seeking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Development Intern to support the team in preparing compelling business proposals and presentations. This role is ideal for individuals with strong research, analytical, and communication skills who are eager to gain hands-on experience in business development and sales strategy. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in creating high-quality business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks. • Conduct research and gather insights to support proposal drafting. • Design visually appealing and persuasive PowerPoint presentations for client meetings. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor proposals and presentations to client needs. • Reach out to prospective clients via emails, calls, and follow-ups to nurture relationships. • Maintain a repository of proposal templates, presentations and sales materials. • Support the business development team with lead generation. Qualifications and Skill required: • Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA in Business, Marketing, or a related field. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present ideas effectively. • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is a plus. • Strong analytical and research skills to support data-driven proposals. • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently. • Knowledge of latest IT systems and technology like IoT, AI/ML, GenAI is highly preferred.
