About the internship We are looking for a motivated and creative Interior Designer Intern to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in the interior design process, from concept development to project execution. You will work closely with experienced designers and gain valuable insights into the industry. Key Responsibilities: 1) Assist in the development of design concepts and presentations for various projects. 2) Create floor plans, mood boards, and design sketches using software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp). 3) Research materials, furnishings, and finishes to support design proposals. 4) Attend client meetings and assist in documenting client requirements and preferences. 5) Help prepare visual presentations and marketing materials for client pitches. Support the design team in coordinating project logistics, including scheduling and sourcing. 6) Participate in site visits to observe project progress and assist with on-site tasks. 7)Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies relevant to the industry. Qualifications: 1) Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 2) Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. 3) Strong creativity and a keen eye for detail. 4) Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 5) Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. 6) A portfolio showcasing relevant design work or projects (if available).
