About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Working on image processing and computer vision tasks using tools like OpenCV or scikit-image, including filtering, feature extraction, and segmentation 2. Writing efficient code in Python; utilizing C++ or JavaScript if needed for specific tasks 3. Assisting in machine learning projects, including classification, regression, and CNN architectures, and using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch 4. Supporting GIS and remote sensing tasks, such as handling geospatial data (e.g., GeoTIFF), coordinating reference systems, and working with QGIS or drone data. 5. Applying mathematical concepts (linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics) to solve image-quality algorithm challenges 6. Researching, learning, and implementing innovative tools and solutions for complex problems 7. Collaborating with team members, documenting findings, and effectively communicating progress 8.
