About the job Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct inspections and testing of incoming electrical material (PCBs, wiring, connectors, Controller, IPC, Printers, monitor, etc.) based on established quality standards and specifications. 2. Utilize measurement tools such as Multimeters, Tachometer, and Clamp meter to verify compliance with technical requirements. 3. Evaluation of suppliers to ensure their capability, the quality, reliability, and performance standards required by a company. 4. Maintaining records of TCs and calibration reports and coordinating with Purchase and Supplier for same. Key Activities to Be Performed: a. Quality Assurance & Compliance:- 1. Ensure incoming materials comply with industry standards and company quality requirements. 2. Identify non-conforming materials and initiate material rejection processes (NCRs) 3. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues through corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) 4. Maintain and update incoming quality control (IQC) checklists and procedures. 5. Implementation of Jig & Fixtures for testing Components 6. Inspection of Service return material for raised issues to verify and coordinate with CFT team for execution by keeping a record b. Supplier Management & Continuous Improvement:- 1. Collaborate with suppliers to improve product quality, reduce defects, and enhance reliability. 2. Conduct supplier audits and provide feedback on quality performance. 3. Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives for incoming materials. c. Documentation & Reporting:- 1. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain quality records. 2. Develop and update work instructions and quality control plans for incoming materials. 3. Creating monthly MIS report 4. Maintain all TCs for the Motor, Gearbox, Drives, and other bought-out material. d. Cross-Functional Collaboration:- 1. Work closely with procurement, design, production, and manufacturing teams to ensure material quality and performance. 2. Participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis for material-related issues. Key Customers Served: 1. Internal: Stores, Production, Engineering Services and Associates. 2.
