About the internship BetterWay treats chronic lifestyle disorders using evidence-based Ayurved technology. BetterWay has multi-specialty Ayurved OPD care centers with expert doctors and paramedics. As a Counselor, your primary responsibility is to engage with patients or their caregivers, understand their chief health concerns, and match them with the appropriate specialist at BetterWay. You will also assist with booking appointments and facilitating center visits. Key Responsibilities: 1. Patient engagement: Listen attentively to patients exploring BetterWay for the first time, who may be dealing with chronic health conditions. 2. Empathy and reassurance: Provide empathetic support to help alleviate concerns and reassure patients. 3. Expert understanding: Assess and understand the patient's issues and validate BetterWay's expertise in treating similar cases. 4. Counseling: Provide clear guidance on BetterWay's doctors, treatment methods, and their advantages and limitations. 5. Expectation setting: Help patients understand the benefits, possibilities, and realistic outcomes of Ayurvedic treatment. Your role is crucial in building patient confidence, driving engagement, and ensuring that they feel committed to pursuing treatment with BetterWay's caregivers. Expectations: 1. Real-time responsiveness: Quickly respond and connect with patients. 2. Basic medical understanding: Develop a foundational understanding of chronic disorders and their treatment approaches. 3. Multi-channel communication: Engage with patients via phone calls, WhatsApp, and video calls to ensure smooth and effective communication. By doing so, you will play a pivotal role in guiding patients toward making informed decisions and visiting our healthcare centers.
