About the internship As a full-stack developer intern, you'll work across multiple facets of development, contributing to building and optimizing key features of our decentralized perpetual exchange. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1) Develop and optimize both front-end and back-end systems to handle high-performance, low-latency transactions 2) Collaborate with senior engineers to architect scalable solutions that integrate with our platform 3) Identify and troubleshoot issues, improving system reliability and user experience 4) Learn and implement various technologies, frameworks, and tools that best suit the project's needs 5) Contribute to real-world projects in decentralized finance, helping implement innovative trading features Who can apply Only those candidates can apply who: 1. are available for the work from home job/internship 2. can start the work from home job/internship between 25th Oct'24 and 29th Nov'24 3. are available for duration of 6 months 4. have relevant skills and interests DefX is a decentralized trading venue powered by a Hybrid Unified Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) architecture, offering a high-performance perpetual market. Built on a custom Layer 1 blockchain, Defx provides secure and efficient trading with native funding and settlement across major public blockchains, including Arbitrum, Blast, Base, and Solana. Our platform delivers ultra-low-latency trading and effective liquidity management through both GUI and API, enabling traders to execute their strategies seamlessly. With an off-chain sequencer capable of matching orders at a p95 execution speed of 0.591ms, we ensure transparency through on-chain data. As we expand, we aim to support additional L1 and L2 networks, spot trading, cross-margin trading, and transition to an on-chain sequencer.
