About the internship The FTL Operations Intern is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of full truckload (FTL) logistics operations. This role involves managing Drivers and Vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations. The FTL Operations Associate will also be responsible for driving process improvements and managing a team to achieve operational excellence. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Oversee daily FTL logistics operations to ensure smooth movement. 2. Ensure timely dispatch, transit, and delivery of shipments. 3. Address operational challenges, including vehicle arrival delays, loading delays, and wrong documentation. 4. Ensure all transportation activities comply with regulations and safety standards. 5. Manage and maintain all necessary documents, including e-way bills, permits, and insurance papers. 6. Stay updated with transportation laws and ensure the company remains compliant.
